We are pleased to announce that Eriko Ochiai’s photogra-phy works were featured in the latest “NEW JAPAN PHOTO” published by EINSTEIN STUDIO.
“NEW JAPAN PHOTO” is a catalogue of up and coming Japanese photographers, which aims to connect the pho-tographers to gallerists, collectors, critics and publishers around the world.
This catalogue was presented at “I NEVER READ, ART BOOK FAIR BASEL 2020”.
Recently it has been difficult to hold exhibitions because of the worldwide spread of coronavirus.
The difficult situation motivated Eriko Ochiai to try a new approach for creations. She started video production!

The exhibition celebrating the launch of the catalogue is now open at QUOZ ARTS FEST. She presents one of her works (photo on bottom right) at the expo.

Eriko Ochiai will present her works “Self-Portrait Photog-raphy” at GALLERY ART POINT Selection “Fragments 2020”.
In this exhibition, 9 emerging and mid-carrier artists selected by GALLERY ART POINT will display their works.
“Self-Portrait Photography” is a series of photography works. She has made various lens filters with different types of materials and forms, and has taken pictures of herself with these lens filters.
She has tried to project her mind to photographs utilizing colors and textures of the lens filters as painters express their feelings on their portraits with colors and brush strokes.
We hope you will enjoy a new approach for self-portrait photography.
