Eriko Ochiai’s first solo exhibition, “ERIKO OCHIAI solo exhibition Glasses Project”, will be held at OMOTESANDO ROCKET, Tokyo from 11th January, 2019.
“Glasses Project” is a series of photography works. She has made various lens filters with different types of materials and forms, and has taken pictures with these lens filters.
In this exhibition, she will present 10 works selected from about 800 works that she has created for more than a year and some replicated lens filters.
Visitors can experience a change of view looking through these lens filters. Also, visitors can find a new landscape putting a board in which the shape of a Rubin vase or a keyhole is punched over exhibited pictures.
In addition, she will plan to give out lens filters free of charge to visitors. Visitors can enjoy a change of vision everywhere they like if they use the lens filter when they take photos with their smartphone.
